We visit the Mariinsky Theater which is one of the most famous opera and ballet theaters in the world. Ten years ago a new and modern addition to it was commissioned. There was initially a lot of controversy over the modern designs for the Mariinsky II, but now that it’s open, there have been glowing reports.
