The Rumours - Indie Rock from Dinslaken

The Rumours are a young band whose indie rock sound could come straight from the British Isles. Instead, the energetic group of 20-somethings come from the small town of Dinslaken in western Germany.

The four former classmates founded The Rumours in 2006, and this summer saw the release of their debut album, “From The Corner Into Your Ear”. Shortly after their LP came out, the band launched their first tour abroad, playing gigs in Denmark and Sweden. We met up with the quartet just after they returned to Germany from their Scandinavian tour.
