The Wasserkuppe - German Glider Museum

April 27, 2013

The Wasserkuppe in the Rhön Mountains is considered the birthplace of glider flying. It’s also home to the world’s largest glider museum. The 4,000-square-meter space looks back over 120 years of glider history, from the simple Lilienthal Glider to modern, high-performance models.
