Stealthy panthers and trundling elephants, vast mountain ranges and dense jungles - those are probably the images that spring to mind when you think of nature. But step outside and you'll find examples of nature all around, from birds nesting in your garden to the flower pushing its way through the pavement. We teamed up with photographer community EyeEm to challenge you to explore the wildlife around you as part of the photo mission, "Nature on your Doorstep".
The response was overwhelming with tens of thousends entries. The decision was tough, but we are now happy to announce and feature the mission winner and runners-up, who inspired us with their impressions of their natural environments.
