Three point two million people affected by Pakistan's worst flooding in generations

The Red Cross says two-and a half million people in Pakistan have been affected by the worst recorded floods in many years. The United nations childrens fund puts the figure at 3.2 million. The death toll from the floods has grown to at least 1400. Unprecedented rainfall has triggered floods and landslides, sweeping away thousands of homes and devastating farmland.
