The project launched by a small tours team, focuses on the expanding gap between the people on the street and the rest of society, by getting the homeless to show visitors "their Berlin". Querstadtein as the tours are known, is taking a proactive approach by creating a space for meeting, exchange and awareness in a city that is home to Germany’s largest homeless population. Reporter Melanie Sevcenko tagged along on a tour to see how the homeless get by and why Berliners are so curious about them.
