Julia Tiernan graduated from Humboldt-University Berlin in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
Then freelancing as a moderator and project coordinator in the film and media sector.
While working for EYZ Media she was responsible for the development of strategies for film presentation with partners like Oxfam, amnesty international, TERRE DES FEMMES and BUND.
She was responsible for co-ordinating and organising film events within film festivals and workshops, networking with national and international cooperation partners - in the film industry, arts and culture, policymakers, the business community as well as social and human rights organizations.
