TT Global Media Forum: Deutsche Welle Academy trains journalists in Afghanistan - jd 03.06.2008 10

In addition to its activities as an international broadcaster, Deutche Welle is also engaged in efforts to promote solid journalism in developing countries. The Deutsche Welle Academy trains visiting journalists in Germany and offers courses abroad as well, sometimes under difficult conditions. Afhganistan is one of several conflict regions where the academy is active. Our next report is from Afghanistan, where Deutsche Welle instructor Eberhard Sucker has been working for the past two years.
