TT: Relations EU - USA: Obama is seeking enhanced cooperation with his European partners

Ema Nevenka JülichApril 5, 2009

Welcome back ... For the third time in four days, European leaders are meeting with the US president and members of his administration this Sunday. First, there was the G20 summit in London, then the NATO summit on the Franco-German border, and today, they're meeting in the Czech capital Prague where, earlier, the president gave his speech calling for a nuclear-free world. Top of the agenda for his talks with EU leaders: relations between Europe and Washington - and the new era that President Obama envisages in Transatlantic politics. In a move away from the policies of the previous Bush administration, the new American leader is seeking enhanced cooperation with his European partners... and that has been welcomed. +++SYN-MAZ+++
