Thinking and acting green is a way of life for many people in a country that was one of the first to have a political party by that name. Germany has a well established organic farming sector and many consumers are convinced that its products are not only the healthier alternative but also better for the environment. Are they right? DW-TV gave two shoppers some money and sent them into a supermarket to buy a typical basketful of goods. Then we analysed their environmental impact.
