Twenties Parties - euromaxx, 19.10.2007

Michael BärOctober 20, 2007

Max Ernst was at the height of his powers in the 1920s when Berlin was the cultural centre of Europe. Just one example to illustrate what it was like, is that in 1925 Berlin had over 200 DAILY newspapers, and some even had morning and evening editions. The Roaring Twenties certainly roared here and having a good time was what it was all about. Perhaps that's why twenties parties are once again very popular here in the German capital.
