UK Writer Advises Germans to Emigrate

Best-selling British author Nick Hornby took a broad swipe at conservative politicians on Thursday, advising Germans to leave the country now that Angela Merkel is their next chancellor. "I think you should all emigrate right now," Hornby said at the 57th Frankfurt Book Fair when asked by a reporter from the German weekly Die Zeit what he thought of the incoming chancellor, who is often compared to former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher. Hornby was attending the Frankfurt Book Fair to promote his latest novel "A Long Way Down".
