Thirty-three percent of the population in Tanzania lives below the poverty line. Women in particular find it hard to improve their lot in life.

Victoria Kisyombe wants to help. Her company Selfina hires out sewing machines to women who would never be able to buy them. Victoria Kisyombe was recently named a Social Entrepreneur by the Schwab Foundation.
