Built on a peninsula on the Danube and surrounded by cultural attractions, Weltenburg Abbey is among the most visited spots in Bavaria. Even today, it is regarded as one of the loveliest examples of Bavarian baroque architecture. It also houses a beer garden and a brewery, where beer was first brewed in the year 1050.
