What is most important to you in your life?
My life is full of problems. For that reason, the most important thing in my life is to stay alive. But staying alive is the most difficult thing in this country (Bangladesh). I want to achieve my goals with creativity and intellectuality.
Realistically, what do you expect from your future?
I want to continue writing throughout my life. I want to express my opinion freely in a favourable atmosphere. I want to obtain a higher degree. I want to create something that would be helpful for people all around the world.
How do you spend your free time?
I read a lot in my free time. Smoking helps me to think. I also spend my free time with my family members.
People in Bangladesh are said to be very hospitable - what do you think about that?
People living in Bangladesh are very hospitable. They take care of their guests. They are very friendly to the guests. They look at foreigners with curiosity because they don’t know much about people of other countries. For that reason, they look at them from a distance. Bengalis are not good in English. However, they try to understand foreigners and show an interest in helping them.
