World in Progress: Nigerian Returnees from Libya

Thousands of West African migrants currently in Libya are currently being repatriated. They had traveled through the desert hoping to reach Europe. But instead, many of them fell into the hands of people smugglers, who enslaved them or kept them prisoners to press their families to pay ransoms. But despite everything, some of the returnees are set to launch another attempt to migrate north.
