World in Progress: Teaching girls resilience in Bihar

Resilience, the capacity to 'bounce back' and thrive in the face of adversity is a set of skills that can be learned. And this is ably demonstrated in the impoverished state of Bihar in northern India, the state with the highest rate of child marriage in the country. A training program helps girls and boys to change their own perspectives and that of their families.
