The investigation into the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post contributor who hasn't been seen since he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2, continues. A recent survey in Germany showed 60 percent of writers believe freedom of expression is under threat, with attacks on writers on the rise.
