Ceuta is in North Africa, yet it belongs to Spain. This makes it — along with the city of Melilla — the only land borders between Europe and Africa, and a magnet for many migrants hoping to reach the EU. Guy Hedgecoe met one such migrant. She says the long journey from Algeria, and the risky wait in Ceuta, are worth it if it means she can have a better life in Spain.
