Xu, Peixi

Xu Peixi holds a Ph.D. and is an associate professor at the Communication University of China, Beijing. He is also a Ph.D. candidate and researcher at the University of Tampere, Finland. His research interests include international communication, citizen participation and new media. His current research projects are media and climate change, media and mining disasters, media and local administration. The title of the doctoral dissertation he will defend this year is “The New Media Landscape in China: Actors, Events, and Discourses”.
