Boston. Ujęto drugiego z zamachowców

W piątek wieczorem (czasu miejscowego) policja w Bostonie aresztowała 19-letniego Dżochara Carnajewa. Jego brat, 26-letni Tamerlan, zginął wcześniej w czasie pościgu.

Dżochar Carnajew został aresztowany po niemal 24-godzinnym pościgu. Okrążony przez policjantów domniemany terrorysta ukrył się pod plandeką w ogrodzie jednego z domów na przedmieściach Bostonu. Amerykańska policja jest pewna, że Dżochar i Tamerlan Carnajew przeprowadzili niedawny zamach na maraton w Bostonie.

Bracia pochodzili z Czeczenii, od pewnego czasu legalnie przebywali w USA. Obaj są muzułmanami.

Akcja policji rozpoczęła się w nocy z czwartku na piątek (18-19.04.13) na terenie elitarnego uniwersytetu Massachusets Institute of Technology (MIT) w Cambridge. Jako pierwszy zginął policjant strzegący terenu uczelni. Domnienami terroryści zaczęli uciekać samochodem w kierunku miasteczka Watertown. W czasie policyjnego pościgu zginął Tamerlan Carnajew. Uczestniczący w obławie policjant został ranny.

Po dwóch eksplozjach podczas maratonu w Bostonie coraz więcej wskazuje na zamach terrorystyczny. Trzy osoby zginęły, ponad sto zostało rannych. Śledztwo przejęło FBI. (16.04.2013)
