「協和號」郵輪事故責任方被判誤殺罪

The trial of the captain of the Costa Concordia cruise ship, which capsized off Italy's coast last year killing 32 people, resumes on Wednesday after it was delayed by a lawyers' strike earlier this month. The trial will examine one of the most dramatic marine accidents in recent Italian history, when the huge liner struck a rock outside the port of Giglio in January 2012 and keeled over on to its side, setting off a chaotic night-time evacuation of more than 4,000 passengers and crew. Schettino, accused of abandoning ship before all crew and passengers had been rescued, faces charges including manslaughter and causing the loss of his ship, which still rests on its side in the Tuscan port. 在審判義大利豪華郵輪"協和號"（Costa Concordia）擱淺翻船事故責任方的過程中，同船長斯凱蒂諾（Francesco Schettino）一起登上法庭的５名被告被判犯有誤殺罪。該船運公司的一名經理以及其他４名船員被判處１０個月至２年的徒刑。由於被告之前承認對事故發生負有部分責任，所以得到了一定的減刑。同時，"協和號"船長本人也向法庭提出了一個"建議"：如果對他服刑的判決不超過３年零５個月，他就會承認負有部分責任。目前法院就此還沒有做出決定。"協和號"於２０１２年１月在義大利西海岸吉廖島附近觸礁並擱淺傾覆，造成32人喪生。
