繼奧地利之後,菲律賓政府也將評估從戈蘭高地撤走其藍盔部隊的可行性。總統阿基諾三世的一名發言人周五(6月7日)對法新社表示,菲律賓外交部上月就曾建議撤離該國參與聯合國維和部隊—脫離接觸觀察員部隊(UNDOF)的全部340名成員,阿基諾總統尚未就此作出決定。鑑於敘利亞政府軍和反對派武裝之間在戈蘭高地持續發生激烈交戰,導致至少兩名聯合國藍盔部隊成員受傷,奧地利政府昨天表示,駐紮在戈蘭高地的維和部隊官兵人身安全受到的威脅已「難以令人接受」,奧地利將撤回其參與部隊。奧地利是聯合國駐戈蘭高地維和部隊的最大參與國。聯合國從1974年起向戈蘭高地派駐脫離接觸觀察員部隊,對位於以色列佔領的戈蘭高地同敘利亞之間的停火線進行觀察。奧地利、菲律賓和印度是聯合國駐戈蘭高地觀察員部隊的三個最大參與國。
