什邡当局一边安抚一边警告尽快自首

德国国际通讯社,鉴于四川什邡市的部分市民和学生对当地污染环境的钼铜厂项目举行大规模抗议,当地市政府现已责成该企业停止施工。周二(7月3日),什邡市政府先是在其官方网站登出的一封公开信中表示,今后不再建设钼铜项目。之后什邡公安局又发出一封带有警告性质的通告,“要求市民停止一切抗议活动,并勒令参与组织策划非法集会的相关人员三天内到公安机关自首。” 外界担心,当局的这一做法会令什邡的群体事件更为激化。

为抗议当地钼铜加工项目开工,几天来当地数千名市民和学生冲击市委机关。什邡当局出动大批防爆警察用催泪弹疏散人群。当抗议照片和视频在互联网曝光后,公开批评警察粗暴镇压抗议者的呼声越来越高。
