阿桑奇一案的外交争执出现了松动。据《星期日泰晤士》报的消息，现年41岁的维基解密的创办人阿桑奇愿意回瑞典接受那里的司法调查，但前提是瑞典方面做出保证，不将他引渡给美国司法当局。此前，维基解密的一名发言人对法新社表示，如果瑞典当局毫无保留地做出承诺，不将澳大利亚人阿桑奇引渡给美国，这将是结束这一争端的良好基础。

暂不引渡美国 阿桑奇可继续上诉 26.03.2024

英国高等法院3月26日表示：除非美国方面能在三周内许诺阿桑奇被引渡至美国后不会面临死刑威胁、且其言论自由受到美国宪法第一修正案保护，否则这位滞留英国十多年的维基解密创始人就可继续在英国上诉。
