Bundesliga Matchday 25 in pictures
Bayern storm 13 points clear at the top and closer to a fifth straight Bundesliga title with a win at Gladbach. Another victory for Schalke lifts them to ninth. Here are the best pictures from Matchday 25.
Müllered again!
Thomas Müller seals victory for Bayern at Gladbach with a clinical 63rd-minute strike, only his second goal in the Bundesliga this term. It was a fine way for the Germany forward to celebrate his 250th appearance for Bayern in Germany's top flight and fired the champions 13 points clear at the top with nine games left.
Masked Matchwinner
Sead Kolasinac caps a fine week for Schalke with the winning goal in Mainz. Three days after securing a berth in the Europa League quarterfinals, Schalke climb to ninth in the Bundesliga and further away from the relegation places.
Another setback for RB Leipzig
RB Leipzig are in a crisis of form. A 3-0 defeat to Werder Bremen is their fourth since the restart. The spot for second in Germany is open once again after three Austrians made sure of Bremen's win on the afternoon - their fourth win in five games.
Leverkusen come up short, again
Bayer Leverkusen lost by a single goal, leaving Tayfun Korkut still without a win to his name as Leverkusen head coach. Goal number eleven on the season for Sandro Wagner proved the difference as Leverkusen's hope to return to European football is surely all but lost.
That man Modeste
Cologne restored their place in the European race thanks to Anthony Modeste's goalscoring habits. The striker's second hat trick of the season ended Cologne's five-game winless streak. Hertha Berlin continue to prove a different side away from home.
Augsburg sucked into relegation fight
Augsburg's weak home form is proving a problem. Freiburg posed too many problems for Manuel Baum's side in a game that ended 1-1. While Freiburg can still qualify for the Europa League, Augsburg are going to have to fight for their survival in the weeks ahead.
Gomez is Jonker's man again
Wolfsburg might be fighting for their survival, but with Andries Jonker the new head coach and Mario Gomez the old dog still capable of pulling off the same trick, they look just fine. Darmstadt, meanwhile, look to have drifted off into relegation after this defeat - one made possible by Gomez's ninth of the season.
Dortmund win, just about
Matchday 25 started with Dortmund beating Ingolstadt despite delivering one of their least convincing displays of the season. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the man on hand, again - that's 23 goals on the season now - but Ingolstadt could quite easily have won 3-1 had they not left their shooting boots at home.
Finally a point for Frankfurt
Though they are still not turned things around, Frankfurt finally ended their five-game losing streak in the Bundesliga with a scoreless draw against Hamburg. Marco Fabian (left) and Marco Russ returned to the starting line-up as Frankfurt nearly won with the last kick of the game.
