禽流感疫情持续 媒体呼吁百姓吃鸡

一周内禽流感疫情已造成中国家禽产业损失高达100亿元。为试图阻止恐慌的蔓延,周一官方媒体呼吁市民放心食用家禽。

(德国之声中文网)据中国国家卫生部公布的最新数据显示,截至目前全国共有60人被确诊为H7N9禽流感病例。确认的感染者中已有13人死亡。中国当局称,此次禽流感病毒H7N9是首次在人类身上发现,也是首次在内地家禽体内发现这种新型菌株。

"让领导先吃!"

《环球时报》在一篇评论中称,"禽流感对家禽产业影响巨大,家禽市场不乐观,停止食用家禽对农民是不公平的。"

文章还呼吁中国百姓避免出现"过度焦虑",应展现出一种"超越个人的集体主义精神"。

甚至有媒体报道,经济上饱受禽流感重创的活鸡批发商表示,希望听到最好的新闻是"领导带头吃鸡。"尽管卫生部发表官方消息称,只要不接触活禽,人们感染病毒的可能性极小。但绝大多数中国百姓还是选择"忌口"。

疫情"北上"

中国卫生部首次官方确认并公开禽流感已有两周。疫情首先出现在上海,然后是邻近两省--江苏和浙江。然而,令人担忧的禽流感病例仍在扩散。仅周日就有11例感染病例,也是截至目前单日感染病例最多的一次。当天,北京也首次发现1名感染病例。被确诊者是一名7岁女童。与此同时,河南也报告有两名男性感染者。这两名感染者和女童的父母均从事家禽处理工作。

专家们担心H7N9病毒变异成一种容易人传人的病毒,从而可能引发大流行病毒。而世界卫生组织(WHO)表示,截至目前还没有证据证明这种病毒会在人之间传播,所有病例都是个别传染,之间并无关联。

该组织一位官员14日表示,新型禽流感病毒扩散到北京并不令人感到意外。该组织已经预料到会有新的病例,并且还会继续有其他病例发生。

"目前还没有有效药物"

而中国工程院院士钟南山在近日接受官方媒体采访时表示,"根据目前的疫情,并不排除H7N9人传人的可能性。"当记者问道,在60个病例中有些人没接触过家禽又是如何发病的? 钟南山表示,当前最重要的问题是无法确定传染源。他同时承认,对于目前的禽流感还没有有效的药物治疗。  

针对持续扩散的疫情,中国卫生部称,当局还不清楚病毒是如何传播的,但他们相信这种新病毒是通过家禽传染给人的,并在几大城市进行大规模活禽扑杀。北京现已全面禁止活禽交易。

周末,国家卫生计生委在其网站上称,食用经过正确烹调的家禽和禽肉制品,是安全的。

联合国粮农组织则指出,H7N9病毒容易在人类身上发病,但染毒禽鸟却只有"非常轻微反应或者不会发病"。这为医疗人员寻找病毒传播源头增加了困难。

2003年,中国当局被指试图掩盖在中国境内出现的严重急性呼吸系统综合症( SARS)的疫情,该疾病在全球范围内传播,共造成800人死亡。

十年后,此次H7N9疫情发生以来,世界卫生组织指出,对中国政府对疫情信息的即时公开感到高兴。不过就在20多天前,中国民众还指责官方延报、误报疫情进展。
