Koop, Antonia

Antonia Koop is a German journalist and documentary filmmaker who worked in conflict areas such as Israel/Palestine, Kenya and in several Southeast Asian countries. As a trainer, she has conducted more than 50 sessions for journalists on Conflict Sensitive Journalism during the past five years alone, among others in the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia and East Timor. Koop is one of the founders and international coordinator of the Peace and Conflict Journalism Network (PECOJON). She has lectured on conflict journalism and conflict analysis in numerous universities in Southeast Asia, holds a master’s degree in conflict and reconciliation studies and is currently finishing her MBA in the UK.
